| Making A PurchaseMaking a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency. We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet. When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. |
Shipping And Handling
Option 1 - Free Delivery - Items ordered at any time before 1200 on a Friday will have their oder delivered the following Friday to the Stevenson Building for collection after 1400 (For example, if you order an item during the 1st week of the month it will be ready for collection by the Friday of the 2nd week of the month)
- Goods are not dispatched until full payment is recieved
- If you miss the Friday 1200 order deadline your order will be delivered to the Stevenson Building the following Friday (For example, if you miss the 1200 Friday deadline of the 1st week of the month your order will be ready for collection by the Friday of the 3rd week of the month)
- Customers must bring along their printed order reciept as proof of purchase alone with a valid for of ID
- Collection days/times from the Steveson Building reception are as follows:

Option 2 - £6.00 delivery charge A standard delivery charge of £6.00 will be applied to orders under the value of £100. For orders over £100.00, delivery is Free to addresses in Mainland UK. The delivery charge for orders shipping to Europe and the rest of the world will be dependent on the final weight of the package but this charge will be confirmed with the customer priot to delivery.

| Delivery ScheduleFull ownership of the goods will transfer to the customer when they have been paid for in full and delivery has taken place. All products are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible where any product cannot be supplied. GOODS MUST BE SIGNED FOR. The customer is solely responsible for inspecting the product upon delivery, and any damage to, or shortages in, a delivery must be reported to Gilmour Sports within 48 hours of the delivery being made. As part of the standard service CityLink will attempt 2 deliveries. If a delivery is unsuccessful, they will leave a calling card where possible. It is then up to the customer to contact their local branch to sort out alternative delivery arrangements. Additional charges will be incurred if a 3rd delivery is required or if the customer wishes to change the delivery address from the original delivery address provided. If the delivery has been attempted twice unsuccessfully, CityLink will hold the parcel for up to 4 days at the local branch. If the customer has not contacted their local branch within this timescale, the parcel will be returned to Gilmour Sports and the customer will be charged accordingly. Please ensure that there will be somebody available to sign for the goods at the Delivery Address that you provide. |
